Ovulation can be checked with a variety of techniques. Basal body temperature charts and urine ovulation detection kits are commonly-used methods. Blood hormone testing, ultrasound examinations and biopsies of the endometrium (lining of the uterine cavity) are also frequently-used methods for detecting ovulation.
