Daniel E. Stein, MD

Dr. Stein is medical director of the In Vitro Fertilization Program at the Continuum Reproductive Center. He is also a faculty member of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt, and a partner in its clinical practice, Roosevelt Reproductive Associates, positions he has held since 2000.

He is also on the teaching faculty of Columbia Medical School.

Dr. Stein is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the reproductive endocrinology and infertility subspecialty, and in obstetrics and gynecology. He received his medical degree from New York Medical College, completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and received fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technologies. In addition, he is a professional member of the Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome Association and an elected member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) national medical honor society.

Dr. Stein’s primary interests are in vitro fertilization and other aspects of assisted reproduction. He also places special attention on polycystic ovarian syndrome, pelviscopic surgery, and reproductive hormonal disorders, areas in which he has published several scientific articles and abstracts. He has lectured extensively on a variety of reproductive topics, and has done several interviews for media outlets, including Fox Network, ABC News, the New York Daily News, and various national magazines.
